Prestesse - Wear Your Wellness

Let’s give ourselves the luxury of wearing clothing that cares for us.

Fashion is more than just what we wear—it’s an extension of how we live, how we feel, and how we care for ourselves. In a world where conscious living is becoming essential, the way we dress should reflect the same values we bring to our wellness practices: presence, mindfulness, and respect for both our bodies and the planet.

Prestesse embodies this philosophy, creating underwear, swimwear, and activewear that not only feels luxurious but is designed to nurture you. Made with natural fabrics and botanical dyes, each piece invites you to embrace confidence, comfort, and sustainability in your everyday rituals.

In this interview, we dive into the vision behind Prestesse—a brand redefining self-care through fashion.

Q: Can you tell us about the inspiration behind Prestesse?

Prestesse began from a personal revelation during the breastfeeding of my daughter, highlighting the impact of synthetic fibers on our health. My creative inspiration is deeply rooted in the wild perfection of nature—its colors, shapes, and textures—to design clothing that is both healthy and beautiful.

Q: What makes Prestesse unique in the sustainable fashion space?

Prestesse offers a sustainable wardrobe designed to last, featuring specific lines: Origine (daily essentials), Pure (undyed), Aura (energetically purified by a magnetizer), and Terra (clay-dyed). Each piece is created to be cherished long-term, carefully selecting fabrics for their beneficial impact on our bodies.

Q: Can you share more about the materials you use and why you chose them?

We primarily use organic cotton, Tencel, Seacell, and soon linen. Each material provides unique benefits: organic cotton is anti-irritating and protects skin from free radicals; Seacell, enriched with marine algae, nourishes skin with vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. These materials offer exceptional breathability and natural antibacterial properties, preventing skin irritations and odors. All our fabrics are GOTS and Oeko-Tex certified. Our undyed cotton originates from a responsibly managed farm in Uganda, showcasing the plant’s natural color.

Q: How do you ensure sustainability throughout your production process?

Our garments undergo testing by IFTH and are produced ethically and transparently through short supply chains. We collaborate with renowned manufacturers, including the historic Chantelle factory in France for lingerie and swimwear, and a specialized activewear facility in Spain, ensuring exceptional quality and responsible production.

Q: What challenges have you faced in launching Prestesse, and how have you overcome them?

The primary challenge was managing the substantial upfront costs required to launch a sustainable fashion brand, particularly for manufacturing and high-quality materials. To overcome this, I chose a pre-order model, enabling responsible production by creating only what is genuinely desired, thus sustainably bringing Prestesse to life.

Q: How do you see the future of sustainable fashion evolving?

I am convinced that our well-being priorities will naturally extend to the clothes we wear. This belief drives my creativity and sensitivity in embodying the vision of wearable wellness through Prestesse.

Q: What can we expect from Prestesse’s first collection launching this Spring?

Our first collection will feature comfortable, second-skin garments designed to accompany us throughout the day. These pieces are energetically purified, naturally dyed, and released in sync with lunar cycles, offering a complete experience of wearable wellness.

Q: Lastly, what message do you have for those looking to make more sustainable fashion choices?

True luxury is wearing clothes that genuinely respect our bodies. This means prioritizing natural materials, minimally processed dyes, and transparent communication about production facilities. With Prestesse, my goal is to ensure you feel fully aligned with every garment you choose to wear.
